space squid is space squid and does space squid things. such as eating passing by ships, and battling the ones who fire at it.

space squids latch onto ships and infest them with squids.

the squids are 7 meters, you are a third its size.

you cast light shields and alert your companions to focus on survival patches.

light shields require concentration, you cannot cast spells outside of light shields.

you have no sword, you have no gun.

your vet bot has two small canons that may penetrate its flesh, your custom tv may be able to disorient it with confusion rays.

the squid says something fowl.

but its not heard though the light shield, but you are stressed from concentrating during its foul statement.

custom tv flashes its lights.

the dead hypnotic eyes of the squid are uneasy to look at, it seems unaffected by the confusion rays.

your vet bot takes two shots.

1 blast lands and draws blood.

the light shield gets distorted and is stressing your concentration further.

The squid is staggered and does not move.

custom tv moves out of the light shield and plays violent noise.

this draws a seizure from the squid. blood streams from its eyes and mouth and wound. it collapses and falls into a pool of its own blood.
